Eva Jantzer Cello Foundation Celebration
Sunday September 30, 2007

All of our string academy cellists are encouraged to attend the exceptional Master Classes on Sunday September 30. At 10 Stephen Geber, former principal cello of the Cleveland Orchestra will give a class and in the afternoon Prof. Timothy Eddy of the Orion Quartet and the Juilliard School of Music will give a class followed by an Indiana Cello Ensemble performance.

Above is a photo from last year's celebration honoring Lynn Harrell, shown here with Susan Moses and her husband Myron Bloom.

  • Beginners: C-G-C, Ants, SeeSaw, early book 1 Twinkle and Variations, French Folk Song
  • Book 2 and above: Witches' Dance plus personal cadenza
  • Susan's Thursday class and above: Popper Gnomentanz, Mendelssohn Song Without Words
  • Saturday classes: Goltermann Capriccio, Faure Papillon, Bach G major Prelude

Closing Summer String Academy 2007

We hope that you are enjoying some summer moments before fall semester is upon us. All the components of the Summer String Academy were very rewarding, culminating in concerts par excellence.
