Eric Isaacson, Associate Professor and Chair of Music Theory at Indiana University, served for seven years on the test development committee for the AP - Music Theory exam, including four as chair. He has participated in workshops on teaching AP - Music Theory in all regions of the country.

At Indiana University, he regularly teaches first-year music theory, as well as graduate courses in music theory, music information technology, and music cognition.  He is a co-creator of ETDrill instructional software and is designer of Music Fundamentals Online, a web-based course on the rudiments of music. He is former editor of the journal Music Theory Online.
