Chamber and Collaborative Music

Welcome to the NEW Jacobs School of Music Chamber and Collaborative Music Department!

This latest addition to the roster of resources houses the new Collaborative Piano Program (PD, MM and DM), the PD in Chamber Music and all related chamber and collaborative curricula in the school. Chaired by new faculty member Anne Epperson, Professor of Collaborative Piano, the department includes the Pacifica Quartet and faculty from many areas of the Jacobs School in an unprecedented collaboration across disciplines.

Following the important current trend to develop a more versatile approach in training musicians for multiple career choices, the Chamber and Collaborative Music Department brings new awareness and specific courses to the Jacobs School of Music students. Developing the art of communication, both musical and otherwise, is a core component of a successful and rewarding life. The focus of the new department is centered around this philosophy and offers expanded coaching resources as well as new degrees and opportunities for all JSOM students.
