Concentus performs a wide-ranging repertory of music for small and large mixed ensembles, vocal and instrumental, from all early periods. At the core of Concentus are small ensembles of winds, brass, plucked and bowed strings which perform separately and together in combination with singers and keyboard players.

Vocal, instrumental and mixed chamber music ensembles meet three times a week; the repertory is taken from all early periods. These ensembles are coached by faculty members, and performance is usually prepared from original source materials. Each student is expected to participate in chamber music during most semesters of residence.

Directors: Dana Marsh, Nigel North, and Joanna Blendulf
