Faculty/Guest Recital Rules

  1. All recitals involving faculty or guests should be proposed by either current members of the faculty or by the Dean’s office, regardless of whether the event is a guest recital, a recital by a retired faculty member, or any other person. All requests should come to the Scheduling Office at least four weeks prior to the intended performance date. (Please note that any requests made less than four weeks in advance may not be able to receive full marketing, promotion, audio/visual and/or sound reinforcement support.)
  2. Faculty/guest recital programs must be over and the performance hall vacated completely (not just the stage area) according to the following schedule:

3. Faculty/guest recitals cannot be scheduled after Thanksgiving during the fall semester, and after March 31, during the spring semester.

4. Faculty/guest recitals may include as many as 20 assisting performers per work. The addition of more assisting performers must be approved by the PCC, and such participation should not interfere with ensemble assignments, academic responsibilities, or individual private lessons.
