Fees

Non-Refundable Registration fee: $70.00
Participant Tuition: $600.00
Auditor Tuition: $300.00
On-Campus Housing in Willkie Residence Hall (optional): $50/night (does not include food)*
*Any nights stayed in Willkie not indicated and paid for on the online registration will be charged directly to the participant (at the time of their stay) with a 12% additional tax.

Check-In

Check-in for the Natural Horn program will take place on Monday, June 10 from 9:30-10:00 a.m. in Clouse's Lounge, between Merrill Hall and the Music Building Addition. See map.

Refund and Cancellation Policy

Cancellations must be made in writing to the Director, cc' the Office of Special Programs, and are subject to the following deadlines and fees;

-Cancellations prior to 5 days before arrival incur a $200 cancellation penalty (this includes the $70 non-refundable registration fee plus processing fees). Any remaining fees paid (minus the $200 cancellation charge) will be refunded.

-Cancellations less than 5 days prior to arrival will not receive a refund except in the case of a documented emergency.

-No refunds will be offered for dismissal due to violation of Natural Horn Workshop, Indiana University, state, or federal rules, early departure due to homesickness; voluntary withdrawal or temporary absence.

When circumstances necessitating withdrawal are beyond the student’s control (e.g., serious illness, or death in the student’s family), exceptions to the above policy may be made on the recommendation of the Directors.

  • Late applications will be accepted on the basis of available space.
  • Tuition includes a temporary computer account and locker rental.


The Jacobs School of Music reserves the right to cancel a workshop if enrollment is not met. Participants will be informed 2 weeks before the start of the workshop and receive a full refund.
