Summer Class Offerings

2020 Young Pianists Summer Term Offerings

There are a number of different ways to study the piano. In the Young Pianists, the traditional private piano lesson is central to the program of study. We believe that individualized lessons have significant advantages, not the least of which is that instruction can be tailored to each student’s age, advancement level, learning style and particular needs.

This Summer the Young Pianists Program will offer a six-week term of one-on-one lessons, starting Monday, May 6 or after. The six-week term can be taken twice for a total of 12 weeks of lessons by mutual consent of parent/teacher, if the student starts lessons shortly after the start date of May 6. Students with other summer commitments may begin later than 5/6, or may spread the 6 week term out over more than six weeks by mutual consent of parent/teacher.  However, Summer lessons must end by August 1.

New beginners and transfer students will be accepted this Summer as instructor availability permits. Auditions are not required, but the Director may inquire about a student’s previous piano study.
